The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Zealand strives to grant the one cherished wish of each child between the ages of 3 and 18 years who has a life-threatening illness.

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation provides the extra comforts for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, which receives over 100,000 children each year.

Hi and welcome to my Marathon des Sables web page.

The Marathon des Sables is a 7 day, 250km self sufficient foot race through, some of the world's harshest environment's, the Sahara Desert.

I am running the race on behalf of two charities. The Sick Kids Friends Foundation which is based in Edinburgh and The Make-A-Wish Foundation in New Zealand.

This site is designed to keep you informed about my progression towards the 2006 race. I look forward to keep you up to date with my training and progress.
